Debbie's Going Away Quilt

My friend was moving away. I made her a quilt of all her Bartlett friends as a going away gift.

Believe in the Magic of Childhood

When my daughter was younger I created this fantasy quilt. I made her a mermaid, an angel, a princess, and a fairy. She loves dolphins so of course i have her riding one. Now that she is a teenager she would look at this and say MOM!!!

Disney Quilt

When the kids were younger, we went to Disney frequently. I had so many wonderful pictures with different characters. I used different Disney character fabric and all the Disney pins we collected are either on the side of the quilt or near a character.

Milly's Quilt

I made this for my aunt Milly. Pictures of her throughout her life. She loves butterflies so I used butterfly fabric and of course her two cats Meow and Autumn.

You can tell we go to the beach a lot. The last night I make everyone pose for pictures. I made this quilt for my brothers family and have one for myself that is similar.

Pat's Quilt

I made this quilt for my Sister in law. She was born on St. Patricks day so I used green fabric and Three leaf clover embellishments.

Zimmermann Christmas Quilt

I have many wonderful pictures from past Christmas's. I wanted to put them together to look at them. I used many different Christmas fabrics and sequined embellishments.

Rock On Challenge Quilts

These were two small quilts I sent to Quilting Arts Magazine for the"Rock on Challenge." The one to the left depicts my favorite song from the seventies Stairway to Heaven. The one to the right depicts my favorite performer growing up and still today Elton John. Many of songs are depicted along with his red piano from his Vegas act.

Zimmermann Family Fun Beach Quilt

I had so much fun making my brothers quilt I had to do one for myself. Me and my brother are digging for buried treasure, Kelsey is building a sand castle, Kyle is on his skim board.

Marine Quilt

I made this quilt for my nephew Mike serving in the Marines. I used patriotic fabric and the Marine Logo fabric. Pictures of him in the core. Or I should say I made it more for my sister in law to look at when she is missing him...

He has grown up to be a fine young man...I am very proud of him...

Treasure

I tried my hand at caligraphy. I used some lace and wrote a poem on the bottom.

It Matters

I love the Starfish poem. The old man walks up and down the sand throwing starfish back into the sea that have washed ashore. The young boy sees him doing this and asks why he bothers there are so many of them. the old man says well it Matters To This One....

I used pictures of my son walking the beach with some starfish embellished throughout.

Fun Beach Quilt

I had fun making this one. I put my sister-in-law on a raft, Jason on a jet ski, the girls building a sandcastle and my brother digging for buried treasure int he sand. Hence Find your Treasure...

Marine Pants Purse

My nephew seen here is in the Marine Core. He had some pants that had holes in them. I made purses out of the pants for my niece and sister in law for Christmas. You can see from the picture my nephew got a kick out of it!!

Marty's Cub Quilt

My friend Marty is a huge cubs fan. For his 40 th birthday I made this quilt using cubs fabric and pictures of him growing up. His nickname is Spud so I ironed that on in the middle of the quilt.

Russell's Family Quilt

This is one of the first quilts I ever made. It has pictures of my brother Russ's family and his favorite bible verses embroidered in it.

Fr. Laurian's Quilt

Father Laurian was our parish priest for about 20 yrs. He was so inspirational to me and helped me through some difficult times. I made this quilt for him when he was leaving. There are pictures of him through his years as a priest, and pictures of our church.

Gingerbread House Quilt

Evey year my girlfriend has a gingerbread house party. We drink wine and make houses. Always a fun evening. One year I made this quilt using pictures from the party and some pictures of her family. I found gingerbread house fabric and used it throughout.
